What Creates a Winning Season?

Ben Cross and Damien Hardwick Facilitated by John Buchanan

A fireside chat exploring what contributes to winning and losing across an entire season.

Through the lens of both coaching and playing, Ben and Damien will share firsthand perspectives from rugby league and AFL at the highest level.

The conversation will examine leadership, preparation, team culture and the factors that shape performance across a complete campaign rather than a single game.

They will also reflect on finals and Grand Final campaigns, including the lessons carried from victories, losses and the seasons that tested their teams most.

Leadership Winning and losing Team culture Coaching High performance
The question behind the session What enables a team to sustain performance across an entire season and deliver when the stakes are highest?
